Job Description

Territory Managers (TMs) are responsible for the sale of the organization's products in a specific region or major geographical area and for providing ongoing support to the products' distribution channel. TMs must develop effective sales presentations for physicians within their region, close sales by using marketing materials and selling techniques to increase prescriptions, analyze data and manage territory to effectively target high prescribing physicians, make presentations, maintain knowledge of current trends in industry, and meet established call average expectations and sales quotas. In addition, TMs must read, understand and utilize clinical papers and proof sources to maintain product knowledge and competitive product knowledge for effective presentations and complete administrative paperwork in a timely manner.



Responsibilities / Qualifications:
We are looking for entrepreneurial candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and a minimum of two years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience. Experience calling on Gastroenterologists is strongly preferred. The successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and workload planning skills and be able to communicate verbally using correct English, grammar, proper technical terminology and pronunciation for telephone and group presentations. TMs must be physically able to perform all job duties including: driving in a geographically large territory for long periods of time each day, lifting sample boxes (25 pounds) and traveling by airplane and car
